Reaction: “The Muppets”

Just got back from The Muppets which is great. Definitely worth seeing! Lots of surprises. At one point, there is a song called “Muppet or a Man,” and I thought, “That sounds like ‘Flight of the Conchords’”. Sure enough, Bret McKenzie was the movie’s music supervisor. The movie was directed by James Bobin, co-creator of “Conchords” and that was such a great call involving he and McKenzie as the tone of that series aligned perfectly with The Muppets. Kudos, too, to Jason Segel & Nicholas Stoller who wrote a terrific script.
