Spec Script Deal: “Bravado”

Paramount acquires action spec script “Bravado” written by Black List writer BenDavid Grabinski. From Deadline:

The protagonist is a former soldier who believes the world is a good place and worth fighting for, but his optimism is tested in the most dramatic way possible after he returns home from the war and takes a job as a police officer.

Described as Narc meets Training Day.

Grabinski wrote the 2008 Black List script “The How To Guide To Saving The World”.

He is repped by UTA and Kaplan/Perrone.

By my count, this is the 10th spec script deal in 2016.

There were 14 spec script deals year-to-date in 2015.
