Spec Script Deal: “Deeper”

Max Landis sells supernatural action spec script “Deeper” to MGM. From Variety:

The spec was announced last November and involves a former astronaut hired to take a submersible to the lowest point in the ocean. As the submersible gets closer to its destination, supernatural events transpire.

Bradley Cooper is attached to star, Kornel Mundruczo (White God) to direct.

Landis is repped by WME and Writ Large .

By my count, this is the 16th spec script deal of 2016.

There were 25 spec script deals year-to-date in 2015.
