Spec Script Deal: “Intrusion”

Good Universe acquires thriller spec script “Intrusion” written by Chris Sparling. From Variety:

“Intrusion,” which is out to directors, centers on a woman who moves with her husband to a small town in Maine after a cancer scare and becomes the victim of a strange home invasion. She begins to uncover a darkness underneath her seemingly idyllic new life.

Sparling is repped by UTA and Kaplan/Perrone.

By my count, this is the 11th spec script deal in 2016.

There were 17 spec script deals year-to-date in 2015.
