Spec Script Deal: “Princesses”

Pascal Productions and Greymatter Productions acquires spec script “Princesses” written by Nir Paniry. From Deadline:

The film’s premise is likened to The Avengers, with all the classic princesses as the heroines.

By “classic princesses”, I would imagine that translates into ‘public domain’.

Paradigm continues to fuel spec script market this year with at least 8 deals in 2017 alone.

Paniry is repped by Paradigm and Good-Fear Management.

By my count, this is the 25th spec script deal in 2017.

There were 19 spec script deals year-to-date in 2016.

This represents a 24% increase in deals this year compared to last.
