Spec Script Deal: “The Impossible War”

Black Bear Pictures acquires historical drama spec script “The Impossible War” written by Robert Specland. From Deadline:

It’s the true story of Jonas Salk and Albert Sabin as they raced against time and each other to come up with a desperately needed cure.

Script sold as part of an auction for a reported mid-six figures.

Specland is repped by UTA and Pacific View Management.

By my count, this is the 7th spec script deal in 2017.
