Spec Script Sale: “Bermuda”

WWE Studios acquire horror spec script “Bermuda” from writers Bobby Lee Darby and Nathan Brookes. Per Deadline:

Set in the Bermuda Triangle, the story focuses on a documentary film crew that goes missing. The only trace is the discovery of their film footage chronicling their final desperate days.

Yep, another found footage project. Writers previously wrote “Slaughter” which won a Slamdance Horror Screenplay Competition.

Writers are repped by Original Artists and Hung Entertainment.

By my count, this is the 7th spec script sale in 2012.

Last year the 7th spec script didn’t sell until February 22nd so sales are more than a month ahead of last year’s pace.
