Spec Script Sale: “Everybody Wants Head”

Sentinel Pictures and Cinetic Media partner to acquire indie comedy spec script “Everybody Wants Head” from writers Peter Hoare and Christopher Lilli. Per Variety:

Story centers on a man with extreme OCD who inadvertently meets a shameless sex addict in group therapy. After a series of unfortunate events, the two wind up on the run from the cops and the mob carrying a severed head in a bowling ball bag.

Similar but different to the 1997 movie 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag.

Hoare and Lilli are repped by Kailey Marsh Management.

By my count, this is the 4th spec script sale this year.

The 4th spec script sale did not happen in 2011 until February 9, so we are nearly a month ahead of last year’s pace.
