Spec Script Sale: “Interrogation”

WWE Studios has acquired suspense thriller spec script “Interrogation” from writer Adam Rodin. From Deadline:

A bomb will go off in Las Vegas on one of the busiest betting days. A brilliant interrogator is called in to question the prime suspect as time runs out, and it becomes clear there’s an even bigger plan in place for both of them. “It’s a white-knuckle ride, filled with unexpected twists and turns,” said WWE Studios president Michael Luisi.

White knuckle ride. Unexpected twists and turns. Sounds like the making of a good suspense thriller.

By my count, this is the 55th spec script sale for 2012.

There were 43 spec sales by this date last year.

The 55th spec script didn’t sell last year until July 21.

Spec script sales are up 22% year-to-date compared to 2011.
