Spec Script Sale: “Into Darkness”
Radar Pictures acquires science fiction drama spec “Into Darkness” from writers Tony Giglio & Branden Morgan. Per Collider:
Radar Pictures has signed Peter Cornwell (The Haunting in Connecticut) to direct an adaptation of Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darnkess. Tony Giglio (Death Race 2) and actor Branden Morgan repurposed the story for a sci-fi picture set in outer space under the new title Into the Darkness.
Writers are repped by Paradigm, New Wave Entertainment, and Principato-Young Entertainment.
By my count, this is the 46th spec script to sell this year.
The 46th spec script didn’t sell in 2010 until October 18th, so sales are up significantly this year.
