It’s On The Grid reporting that Gold Circle Films has acquired the comedy spec script “Sex on the First Date” from writers Sall Grover and Emma Jensen. Plot: “In the vein of “When Harry Met Sally” and “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.” Explores the age old question, if a relationship can exist from having sex on the first date.”

Writers are repped by WME and Magnet Management.

By my count, this is the 71st spec script to sell in 2011.

Only 55 sold in 2010.
