Spec Script Sale: “The Fall”

QED International acquires drama thriller spec script “The Fall” from writer Christopher Cosmos. From Deadline:

A modern take on The Odyssey, about a young man who makes his way cross country carrying with him the cure for a devastating plague. He’s hunted by men who want the cure for himself.

Cosmos works as a director of development for Benderspink who repped the deal.

By my count, this is the 41st spec script sale of 2012.

There were 32 spec sales by this date last year.

Spec script sales are up 28% year-to-date compared to 2011.
