Chickie the Cop Entertainment acquires supernatural horror spec script “The Last Breath…” from writer Paul J. Salamoff. From Variety:

Pic revolves around the lone survivor of a suicide pact who’s haunted by a vengeful otherwordly entity which demands her death.

Salamoff is repped by Station 3 Entertainment.

By my count, this is the 68th spec script sale of 2012.

There were 62 spec script sales by this time last year.

The 68th spec script didn’t sell last year until September 23rd.

Spec script sales are up 9% year-to-date compared to 2011.
