Atmosphere Entertainment acquires drama comedy spec script “The Voice” from veteran actor and now writer Robert Davi. From THR:

Sale Date: October 28, 2011.

By my count this is the 89th spec script sale in 2011.

In 2010, only 55 spec scripts sold.

In 2009, only 68 spec scripts sold.

Spec script sales are up 85% year-to-date over 2010.
