Spec Script Sale: “Untitled Paul Sloan Project”

Millennium Films acquires untitled supernatural action project from writer Paul Sloan. From THR:

The untitled supernatural action script is described as having been inspired by pulp heroes Doc Savage and Tarzan, and centers on a team of mercenaries whose search for a missing person in the jungles of Cambodia becomes a descent into the heart of darkness as they confront the dark force of a vampire.

Vampires refuse to die! At least as far as Hollywood is concerned.

Sloan is repped by Brucks Entertainment.

By my count this is the 62nd spec script to sell in 2011.

Only 55 spec scripts sold in 2010.

Spec sales are up 77% over last year at this time.
