You can oftentimes tell how bad a movie is by its taglines:

Extreme Ops: “Fear is a trigger.”

Over the Top: “Some fight for money… Some fight for glory… He’s fighting for his son’s love.”

Jaws: The Revenge: “This time… It’s personal.”

The Karate Kid: Part III: “First it was teacher to student. Then it was father to son. Now, it’s man to man.”

The Iron Eagle: “Break the sound barrier. Break the speed barrier.”

God, those are all awful.

High school kid hijacks jet fighters, takes on a whole hostile middle eastern country, kicks their ass, saves his dad, and is let into the air force academy because of it = THE MOST RIDICULOUS PLOT OF ALL TIME.
