Trailer: “Sucker Punch”

The upcoming movie from Zack Snyder (and co-writer Steve Shibuya) is Sucker Punch. Check out the just released trailer:

The IMDB plot synopsis:

A young girl is institutionalized by her wicked stepfather. Retreating to an alternative reality as a coping strategy, she envisions a plan which will help her escape from the facility.

Tagline: Alice in Wonderland’ with machine guns.

Will Sucker Punch be as good as 300 or as disappointing as Watchmen? I know one thing: I’m glad to see more and more movies featuring female protagonists.
