What question would you ask a screenwriter?

Not just one, but seven of them. And not just screenwriters, but writers who have sold spec scripts to break into the business. As recently as 1 or 2 years ago, they were aspiring writers. Now they are successful Hollywood screenwriters.

What questions would you ask them if you had the chance?

Now you do. This week, I will be moderating a conversation with a group of seven screenwriters. If you follow the spec script market, you will recognize the names. Our plan is to have a wide-ranging roundtable discussion about as many subjects as we can cram into a 60–75-minute time frame. I am recording the session and will run a series of GITS posts with their individual and collective insights.
