“You and I are not so different…”

So I went to see a movie recently. I don’t want to give away any plot spoilers, so I won’t name the film, but it rhymes with “Blow Tight and the Puntsman.”

Anyhow there is a pivotal moment in Act Three where the Nemesis says to the Protagonist [paraphrasing]: “You and I are not so different.”

And I thought, “My God, I’ve heard that a lot in movies.”

I mean I get that the the Nemesis can be seen as a projection of the Protagonist’s shadow, and thus, they do share some essential connection, but haven’t we heard this on-the-nose line like… I don’t know… a million times?

Hell, TV Tropes even has a whole page dedicated to it.

So I’m curious: How many movie examples of this line can we come up with? Variations on theme completely acceptable, but basically the Bad Guy pointing out to the Good Guy, they really are quite similar.
