Your questions for screenwriters Jeremiah Friedman & Nick Palmer

You may recall the sale of the spec script “Family Getaway” last year:

Per THR, Warner Bros. buys action spec “Family Getaway from newcomers Jeremiah Friedman and Nick Palmer:
In the story — akin to a Jason Bourne movie crossed with “Little Miss Sunshine” — a man’s Thanksgiving at his parents’ house becomes a lot more dysfunctional when rival assassins crash the dinner, forcing him to take his family on a cross-country adventure in their station wagon.

Then you may remember that Jeremiah and Nick graciously answered an extensive set of questions in this four part interview series:

Well, more good news for the talented writing duo — and for the GITS community. Recently I received this email from Jeremiah:

Just wanted to check in and give you a heads up that we just set-up our next project, a remake of the Kevin Costner action/romance, The Bodyguard, at WB. It was an interesting process and our first real experience trying to sell a pitch. As always, would be happy to share any lessons learned with the GITS readers and answer any questions they might have.

How great is that? I’m sure the guys are super busy with this Warner Bros. reboot, but they’re willing to provide some insights into the business of screenwriting.

So have at it: What questions might you have for the writing team Friedman & Palmer? Before you post anything, read the 4-part interview first to make sure your query isn’t covered there.

Thanks and congratulations, Jeremiah and Nick!
