Zero Draft Thirty: Day 11.
Write an entire draft of a script in March — FADE IN. FADE OUT. Or any sort of creative goal you have in front of you.
Feature length movie screenplay. Original TV pilot. Rewrite a current project. Break a story in prep. Generate a month’s worth of story concepts.
Whatever you feel will ratchet your creative ambitions into overdrive…

UPDATE: For those of you new to Zero Draft Thirty and/or unfamiliar with the Zero Draft Thirty Facebook group, one thing you should know is that stuff has a way of… let’s say… evolving.
For example because the working Zero Draft ethos is to combat the regressive impact of Perfectionism and Procrastination, we try to have fun. So instead of writing sprints, we have writing scampers, wherein we invite people to join in hourly writing sessions.
Over time, that led to adopting as our animal spirit guide: Hamsters. And specifically Scamper the Hamster.
Then along the way, we came up with the idea of a monthly 24 Hour Writing Scamper-A-Thon.
The idea there is from Friday through Saturday, 24 people from around the world host hourly writing scampers to encourage our community to… you know… write!
The next step in the evolution: With the Zero Draft Thirty 2o17 Spring Challenge, people decided to do the 24 Hour Writing Scamper-A-Thon each of the four weekends in March. This has led to writer hosts coming up with some inventive ways to inspire folks. Like this from Camilla Castree:
What all this translates into is the stated goal of having some fun with our writing, but also a tremendous positive energy from writers all over the world, supporting and inspiring each other. And that’s just great!
So to acknowledge her efforts and by extension those of all the Scamper-A-Thon hosts, today’s Anita Loos Award recipient is Camilla Castree!
So we march on toward March 31 and those precious words…
