Feature length movie screenplay. Original TV pilot. Rewrite a current project. Break a story in prep. Generate a month’s worth of story concepts.

Whatever you feel will ratchet your creative ambitions into overdrive…

UPDATE: This from the creative mind of Trish Curtin goes a long way in explaining what the Zero Draft Thirty Facebook group means when we talk about a ‘writing scamper’:

Why a writing scamper rather than a writing sprint? Nothing wrong with the latter. Both of them are about work and being productive. We choose to scamper because it’s in the spirit of a zero draft. Get words down on paper. Pound out pages. No worries if they’re not perfect. And guess what? They won’t be perfect. So feel free to play around with each scene, each line of dialogue. Be creative. Have some fun.

In other words… scamper.

There’s also this:

This is our animal spirit guide: Scamper the Hamster. So for all you folks wondering ‘what the hell is up with the people and their writing scampers,’ thanks to Trish, now you know.

And for that, Trish Curtin is today’s recipient of the Anita Loos Award!

If you’re feeling stymied and stuck, don’t skulk… SCAMPER!
