Zuckerberg responds to “The Social Network”

Zuckerberg responds:

Not everyone appreciates screenwriter Aaron Sorkin’s depiction of Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network.” Especially Zuckerberg.

In the video below, Zuckerberg says he has been dumped by girls a lot, not just once. He was impressed that the fimmakers got all his shirts right. But he’s amazed that the filmmakers made it look like the whole reason for making Facebook was because he wanted to get girls. “I have been dating the same girl since before I started Facebook,” he explains.

This comment from Sorkin in the article:

“I haven’t met Mark Zuckerberg, but I’d be happy to,” he told the Dish Rag. “Honestly, my priority is always the audience. “

Reminds me of a line I heard once about writing: “Never let the facts get in the way of a good story.” 

The movie will almost definitely get best screenplay noms… and so the debate will continue.
