Summer: I’m totally serious.
Tom: You’re joking around.
Summer: No, I’m not joking around.
Tom: “Octapus’s Garden.”
Summer: Yes, “Octapus’s Garden” is the best Beatles song ever recorded.
Tom: Why don’t you just say “Piggies”?
Summer: C’mon, I love Ringo Starr.
Tom: Nobody loves Ringo Starr.
Summer: That’s what I love about him.

(500) Days of Summer (2009), written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week is fan boy/girl conversations, suggested by plinytheelder. Today’s suggestion by Luke Myers.

Trivia: On the screens where the numbers of the days in the relationship are shown, the coloring and “mood” of the background art change to reflect the status of the relationship. Good days are brighter and bad days are darker.

Dialogue On Dialogue: My son Luke suggested this. He saw (500) Days of Summer just recently as part of a class I teach. Loved the film. And this little scene is one he remembered.
