Gordie: Go man, go man! Get up, Vern! Dammit! Get up! Go man! Shit, Vern, 
 you! Get up! 
Vern: But I’m gonna fall! 
Gordie: Dammit! Goddammit get up! Go! Go!

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week is Fear.

Trivia: In the shot where Gordie and Vern are running towards the camera with the train right behind them, the train was actually at the far end of the trestle with the two actors on the opposite end. The crew used a 600mm long-focus lens that when shot at the telephoto end, it compressed the image so much it made it look like the train was right behind them.

Dialogue On Dialogue: This scene is straight out of the Hero’s Journey: a Threshold Crossing. Perfect for a movie that is in essence an initiation rite for these four boys, part of their passage from child to adult. this moment symbolic of the fear of the future, the threat of adulthood pressing down on them… like a rumbling train.
