The Daily Dialogue theme for next week: Alien Invasion, suggested by Michael Waters.

Trivia: The film was released in the U.S. on June 6, 2014, the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day invasion during WWII. The film shares many similarities to the attack on Normandy Beach. Uniquely, it premiered in two sequential events, designed to mirror the D-Day landings within the exact timeline of the historic event. The premieres experienced comparible deja-vu of weather conditions, starting near 06:00am GMT in Imax theatre London.

Dialogue On Dialogue: Sometimes you need to sum up the situation in a movie. The dialogue does that. In three lines. Boom. Done.

By the way, this is a damn fine movie. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor. Watch it. Fine filmmaking.
