Trivia: Tyler explains to Johnny Utah that Patrick Swayze’s character is named Bodhi, the Bodhisattva. Bodhisattva is a term in the Buddhist religion meaning an enlightened being who, out of compassion, forgoes nirvana in order to save others. Bodhi means “wakefulness”.
