Paul Vitti: How was that?
Dr. Ben Sobel: It was going great until the cutting off of the balls and the shoving them up his ass. You know what I do when I’m mad, Paul? I hit a pillow. Just hit the pillow. See how you feel.

Paul whips out a gun and shoots the pillow several times.

Paul Vitti: There’s your fucking pillow.
Dr. Ben Sobel: Feel better?
Paul Vitti: Yeah, I do.

Trivia: In the original script, there were more scenes in which Dr. Sobel (Billy Crystal) receives gifts from Paul Vitti (Robert De Niro). In one of them, former Yankee great Phil Rizzuto, at the request of his friend Paul Vitti, would give Dr. Sobel his spike shoes because Dr. Sobel is a Yankess’ fan, which Billy Crystal is in real life).

Dialogue On Dialogue: The thing with the pillow is classic humor. Take something we all know (hit the pillow), then spin it in a fun direction (shoot it with a gun).
