HONEY LEMON: Excuse me! Coming through! Tadashi! Oh, my gosh. You must be Hiro! I’ve heard so much about you! Perfect timing. Perfect timing.

HIRO: That’s a whole lot of tungsten carbide.

HONEY LEMON: 400 pounds of it! Come here, come here, come here. You’re going to love this. A dash of perchloric acid, a smidge of cobalt, a hint of hydrogen peroxide, super-heated to 500 Kelvin, and…Ta-da! It’s pretty great, huh?

HIRO: It’s so pink.

HONEY LEMON: Here’s the best part.

HIRO: Whoa.

HONEY LEMON: I know, right? Chemical metal embrittlement.

Trivia: According to Scott Watanabe, the movie is set in an alternate future where after the 1906 earthquake, San Francisco was rebuilt by Japanese immigrants using techniques that allow movement and flexibility in a seismic event. After the city was finished being rebuilt, it was renamed San Fransokyo due to it being a city with Japanese and American architecture combined.

Beymax is reserved, almost deadpan; Go Go and Wasabi exhibit varying amounts of seriousness; Fred is goofy. How do you balance against that? You need someone who is wildly enthusiastic. Honey Lemon is enthusiasm incarnate.”
