Somerset: Shut up!
John Doe: She begged for her life and the life of the baby inside her.
Somerset punches him. Mills looks on in disbelief.
John Doe: Oh… he didn’t know.

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week is dramatic reveal, suggested by hoernsch. Today’s suggestion by David Proenza.
Trivia: Andrew Kevin Walker had enormous difficulty getting a studio to buy the rights to his script because he was a complete unknown in Hollywood. Allegedly, he put together a list of agents that represented writers that work in the crime and thriller genres, and just called each one up until he got a positive response.
Dialogue On Dialogue: Commentary from David: “I love this reveal. No matter how smart Mills and Sommerset thought they were in solving the crimes and connecting the dots (and even breaking into his apartment), John Doe was one step ahead of them the entire time and this only proves it, culminating in one of the most shocking and heartbreaking reveals in recent times.”
CALLING ALL DAILY DIALOGUE FANS! Here is my own dramatic reveal: The cupboard of suggestions this week is empty! We will literally starve this week, no Daily Dialogues to feed our souls without your help! Your suggestions wanted! Tomorrow I resort to outright shame and humiliation, revealing my long festering dark, troubled soul. Don’t make me go there… one dramatic revelation you certainly don’t want to see!
Note: I used excessive dramatic license in this last paragraph. Hopefully it will arouse you to post some suggestions in comments!
