The Daily Dialogue theme for the week is Halloween, suggested by Bretton Zinger.

Trivia: The script was largely written whilst on location filming for Raiders of the Lost Ark during filming breaks. Steven Spielberg dictated the story to screenwriter Melissa Mathison who was there with her then-boyfriend and future husband Harrison Ford.

Dialogue on Dialogue: This was an inspired idea: How to get E.T. safely out of the house? Put him in a costume. What excuse to do that? Make it Halloween.
