Carlos: So, what, were they psychos, or…
Seth: Did they look like psychos? Is that what they looked like? They were vampires. Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don’t give a fuck how crazy they are!
The Daily Dialogue theme for the week is monsters, suggested by Teddy Pasternak. From Dusk Till Dawn suggested by Bill Weinberger.
Trivia: The name of the movie is taken from the signs found on drive-ins. These signs indicate the length of the shows, which ran “from dusk till dawn”. The movie is full of references to midnight movies and films which were often intended for teenagers to watch late at night from their cars.
Dialogue On Dialogue: This would be exposition as revelation. When delivered by George Clooney in the midst of an emotional harangue in the shadows of a club called the “Titty Twister,” I guess it’s fair to say it qualifies as meeting the number one goal of writing exposition: be entertaining.
