Daily Dialogue — October 3, 2016

“To eat good food is to be close to God.”

Big Night (1996), written by Stanley Tucci, Joseph Tropiano

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Cooking, suggested by katha.

Trivia: Stanley Tucci co-wrote the film because he wanted a decent part for himself.

Dialogue On Dialogue: The relationship between the brothers Primo (Tony Shalhoub) and Secondo (Tucci) is both the central relationship and central conflict of the story, the younger brother a businessman, the older brother an artist with food. Wonderful movie, especially for foodies.
