Daily Dialogue theme for next week: Mealtime conversations

After a week of memorable one-word lines, we head in the opposite direction: Mealtime conversations [suggested by Deaf Ears]. Opposite because meals provide the backdrop for extended scenes, the breaking of bread a perfect backdrop against which characters can share meaningful thoughts and feelings.

So you know the drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes into Comment.

* If you can find the URL of an accompanying video from Movie Clips or YouTube, please include that.

Let’s think across genres: Comedy, Drama, Science Fiction, Horror, Thriller. There have been notable mealtime conversations in all of them.

See you in Comments!
