Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Psychotic characters or seduction?
We’ve done this a couple of times before, actually pitted two suggestions against each other to see which could generate the most movie quotes. At the end of the day, that makes my life easier because then I don’t have to go hunting for dialogue. And after all, isn’t that what it’s all about: Making my life easier? ;)
So two suggestions from GITS readers. The first is from Dan Rappazzo:
I would like to suggest dialogue from psychotic characters. There are some really great lines of dialogue from characters who are not quite sane, some who know it and others who don’t.
Dan goes on to post video clips from movies like American Psycho, Psycho, Scream and The Dark Knight
The second possibility comes from Teddy Pasternak who suggests foreplay and provides some examples from My Cousin Vinny, Out of Sight and Body Heat. Let me tweak that a bit and broaden it out to include any form of seduction.
