Interview: Jim Stansberry and Annika Tuneld
As part of my series on writers and filmmakers who are on the front edge of making their mark in the business, recently I interviewed the writing duo of Jim Stansberry, based in the U.S., and Annika Tuneld, who lives in Sweden. Together they wrote and sold the original screenplay “Wildflowers” to 108 Production.
Here are both parts of that Q&A:
Part 1: “Doing research we learned that the baby boomer generation (born between 1946 to 1964) was one of the fastest growing demographics with the most disposable income and their favorite pastime was the movies. We wanted to give them a movie that they could experience ‘vicarious wish fulfillment’ with.”
Part 2: “I live in Sweden and Jim lives in the US. We have a six hour time difference. Jim works fulltime as a chef, I’m a single mother, and the whole screenplay was written over Skype.”
