Warner Bros. buys an untitled drama spec script written by Matt Damon & John Krasinski. From THR:

While plot details remain scarce, the story centers on a salesman (Damon) who arrives in a small town only to have his life changed.

Well, that is some talent attached!

Damon and Krasinski are repped by WME.

By my count, this is the 80th spec script to sell this year.

Only 55 spec scripts sold in 2010.

Only 68 spec scripts sold in 2009.

87 spec scripts sold in 2008.

Spec script sales are up 74% year-to-date compared to 2010.
