A stellar group of Hollywood screenwriters on writing genre films.

The Writers Guild Foundation recently made available videos of an event which took place all the way back in 2009.

Panel discussion with writers John August, Michael Goldenberg, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, and William Wisher regarding the process of writing within the sci-fi and fantasy genres. Films included in the discussion are as follows: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), Contact (1997), The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008), The Terminator (1984), and Judge Dredd (1995), among others. Moderated by FX Feeney.
