Today’s Writing Quote

“Sometimes you’re swinging your way through a first draft like a blind miner with a pick-axe. That’s OK. Just get it done.”

UPDATE: This from Sarah Grimes:

Sooooo many things to get in the way of the one thing which counts the most: WRITING! Yet another reason why the Zero Draft approach rules. Just put words down onto paper. By getting to FADE OUT, no matter how flawed your draft may be, you will know so much more about your story, that will set you up for rewrites.

For this bit of wisdom, today’s Anita Loos Award recipient is Sarah Grimes!

What are we? Writers? What are we doing? Writing!
