Today’s Writing Quote
This is a special one because it’s generated by one of the ZDT Challenge writers: Lorezno Collona.
Hi everyone,
I would like to thank Scott Myers and his Zero Draft Thirty because I have officially wrote “END OF PILOT” at the end of page 57 of my script.
Yep, today I started writing page 34 and I was particularly inspired so I was able to write 23 pages.
It’s only the beginning because the real work begins now, but without Zero Draft Thirty, I don’t know if I would have written it.
Thank you all.
Lorenzo (from Italy)
Fantastic! I look forward to seeing many more notes like this over the next 3 weeks.
You want inspiration? Here you have it: Lorenzo has finished his script!
As the Bible says, “Go and do likewise!”
Today’s Inspirational Video
If you have a writing quote appropriate for pounding out a zero draft, post to Comments, Twitter, or Facebook.
If you have a video to inspire or perhaps give us a laugh, post to Comments, Twitter, or Facebook.
But here’s the biggie: Head to Comments, Twitter, and Facebook to support each other!
How many pages did you write in the last 24 hours? Or if you’re prepping the story, what did you work on? How are you feeling about your story? Are you loving or hating your writing process? Did you have a good day or a bad day? Do you have any questions about your writing process? Ready to give a virtual hug… or maybe you need one.
Comments, Twitter, Facebook. That’s where the Zero Draft Thirty community gathers. Remember: Every day I’ll be handing out the coveted Trumbo Award to the best Comment, Tweet, Photoshop, anything you come up with to get our collective juices going.
And each day in November, I’ll be dishing out a special batch of ZDT-flavored creative juju for everyone who posts.
Nothing else to say. Just. Write.
Onward!
Actually there’s one more thing to say. No need for an update. Here is your winning Trumbo Award entry courtesy of Monique Mata.
I can think of no better image to keep in mind as we pound out pages than Kermit the Frog going Medieval on that Underwood!
Monique, congratulations. You are today’s Trumbo Award winner!
Write on!
