UPDATE: Here’s a great photo to remind us of a fundamental truth about writing:
It’s especially nice because it’s a photo submitted by Gary Frutkoff, a production designer on many movies and TV series. If you scroll down his IMDb credits, you’ll see that he worked in the art department on my movie K-9. That’s when I met Gary and we’ve been friends ever since. When I lived in LA, we used to ride our bikes from Marina Del Ray to Torrance and back.
So it’s a special treat to give the hallowed Trumbo Award to my friend Gary Frutkoff!
